For 30 years, we have provided healthcare and social care in Prato, Pistoia and Florence, helping each person realise their unique potential.
Neurological and age-related conditions
We treat neurodegenerative and age-related conditions, including Parkinson’s disease and the effects of stroke.
Orthopaedic conditions
We treat acute inflammatory and degenerative conditions, and provide post-surgical rehabilitation.
Rheumatological conditions
We treat rheumatic diseases affecting the joints and systemic conditions involving other organs.
Respiratory conditions
We treat chronic respiratory conditions affecting the lungs or airways, including COPD, asthma, allergic rhinitis and pulmonary hypertension.
Primary and secondary lymphoedema of the upper and lower limbs
We treat limb swelling caused by underdeveloped, obstructed or damaged lymphatic vessels, whether primary or secondary.
Rehabilitation following limb amputation
We use interventions to prevent contractures, shortened tissues, joint stiffness and muscle wasting.
THE CRIDA FOUNDATION
People, facilities, projects and initiatives
The Crida Foundation brings together many structures, projects, initiatives and people who have been involved in health, social and psychosocial rehabilitation for more than thirty years.
Today Crida is an integrated structure aimed above all at citizens with disabilities who aim to allow the disabled person the best possible quality of life and psychosocial inclusion.
In 1977 he began a pioneering service for the time, i.e. the inclusion of “handicapped” in the motor activities of the Youth Centre for Sport Training, giving children the possibility of a first socializing experience outside the school environment.

The Crida Foundation performs rehabilitation treatments on subjects suffering from multiple diseases. We work in agreement with local health companies, with Sanitary Authorization and Regional Accreditation as a Center for Recovery and Functional Rehabilitation.

The Crida Foundation also offers services and activities for the health area. There are two active projects: the “Autonomy” project initially created for children and children, which today includes patients of all ages, and the “P.I.G” (Ghandi Integrated Project) reserved for children and children.
