Speech and language therapy

This rehabilitative technique is aimed at children and adults who have speech disorders, to improve understanding, language production, phoning. Patients are also treated with attention, memory, disfaction for solids and liquids.

The treatment carried out does not only concern the scope of linguistic alterations, but also that of anatomical disorders and mechanisms of other higher nervous activities (praxes, perception, intelligence, memory, etc.).

The treatment is set after an accurate assessment to determine what the patient's residual capabilities are through standardized testing.

Evaluation is necessary to establish:

• Minutes

The patient’s verbal behavior in both sides of expression and understanding, through oral and written channels and at different levels of difficulty;

• Residual capacity

The residual capabilities in transposition tasks (repetition, high voice reading, dictation writing, copying; also these at various levels of difficulty).
